Carlotta Patti

Ze studeerde piano in Parijs bij pianist A. Hertz. Ze maakte haar debuut als zangeres in 1861 in New York. Ze trad op in verschillende landen op opera- en concertpodia, ook in Rusland. Haar stem, aangenaam van timbre, had echter niet de schittering die de zang van haar zus Adeline Patty onderscheidde.
